Tim Ballard set down with Tim Cast IRL on Thursday night and shared more details about true stories that inspired the new hit movie Sound of Freedom.
During one part of the interview, Ballard shared about one of his most recent missions.
Ballard shared that his wife Katherine urged him to rescue orphan children in Ukraine because they were in danger of being trafficked.
Ballard then said three hours later after his wife pushed him to go to Ukraine, actor Mel Gibson called him and said he has some intel on children that need rescuing in Ukraine.
He later revealed Gibson’s tip ultimately led him and the group Aerial Recovery to bust a pedophile ring that was trafficking children from Ukraine to Mexico.

Later in the interview Ballard shared that he has resigned from Operation Underground Railroad and has now started a new organization called the Spear Fund.
