As per reports, Magnus Soderlund, a senior lecturer and researcher at the Stockholm School of Economics, believes that eating human flesh obtained from deceased bodies may be able to aid in the preservation of the human species if the global community can “awaken the notion.”
The New York Post reported during a panel discussion at the Gastro Summit titled “Can You Imagine Eat ng Human Flesh?” Soderlund’s case for cannibalism was front and center. He believes that if people try eating human flesh, “conservative” taboos against cannibalism may change over time.
Some of the topics discussed at the seminar included whether or not people are too self-centered to “live sustainably,” and whether or not cannibalism is the future solution to the problem of food sustainability.
When questioned whether he would try human flesh in an interview after his talk, Soderlund said he was open to the possibility.
