RFK Jr. Says He Will Pardon Assange and Snowden If Elected President

In Robert F. Kennedy’s most recent social media post he stated if he’s elected president he will pardon free speech champions such as Edward Snowden and Julian Assange.

Kennedy stated “Instead of championing free speech, the U.S. actively persecutes journalists and whistleblowers. I’ll pardon brave truth-tellers like Julian Assange and investigate the corruption and crimes they exposed. This isn’t the Soviet Union..

He continued “Other brave truth-tellers include John Kiriakou, Chelsea Manning, Reality Winner, Daniel Hale, Thomas Drake, Jeffrey Sterling, and Edward Snowden. They were trying to return America to its democratic and humanitarian ideals.”

While other candidates are campaigning on social security and cultural issues, RFK Jr. has made it clear he’s running to take down the emergence of the corrupt merger of state and corporate power.

As of right now Kennedy is the only presidential candidate that has called for Assange and Snowden to receive a pardon.

He’s also the only candidate to call out the CIA and Military Industrial Complex out by name.
