Businessman Perry Johnson officially suspended his Presidential campaign on Friday but has now issued an official endorsement for Donald Trump.
Johnson stated “Having suspended my campaign, I am officially endorsing Donald J. Trump for President of the United States.
He continued “We must beat Biden to save this country and Donald Trump is the only candidate who can do it. My full statement is below.”

So who is Johnson?
Perry Johnson launched his unlikely 2024 presidential in March at the Conservative Political Action Conference.
Johnson received about 5% of the vote in CPAC’s straw poll of potential presidential candidates. He trailed former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the polls, but he beat out Trump’s former vice president, Mike Pence, and former governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley.
