JD Vance’s Plane Forced To Make Emergency Landing over Door Malfunction

A Boeing 737 charter plane carrying Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance made an emergency landing at Milwaukee International Airport this afternoon.

Airport officials reported that the plane, operated by Eastern Air, returned to the airport around 1:30 p.m. due to a suspected issue. The aircraft landed safely and taxied without any problems.

“The pilot reported a malfunction with the door seal and declared an emergency. Trump Force Two then made its way back to Milwaukee,” stated Taylor Van Kirk, a spokesperson for Senator Vance. “Once the issue was addressed, the plane resumed its original route to Cincinnati.”
