Dr. Celebrates NYC Heroin Injection Sites’ Anniversary

Last year in a virtue-signaling effort to reduce the number of overdose deaths caused by heroin, New York City approved the operation of two supervised injection sites in Manhattan..

Trained staff at two locations in East Harlem and Washington Heights supply clean needles, administer naloxone to reverse overdoses, and supply users with addiction treatment options. The drugs are brought to the sites by the users.

One of the Doctors behind the site celebrated the one year anniversary of the injection site.
