Senator John Fetterman was taken to the George Washington University Hospital in Washington DC after experiencing lightheadedness shortly following the Senate Democratic retreat on Wednesday.
Doctors have performed tests and haven’t found any evidence of a new stroke, however, they are keeping him overnight for observation.
His staff and family have reported that he is in good spirits and conversing with them. This health scare comes after he suffered a stroke on May 13th of last year.

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman has been hospitalized in Washington, D.C. according to a statement from his team.
In the statement, the Senator’s communication director said he felt lightheaded after a Senate Democratic retreat on Wednesday. They said he called his staff and he was taken to George Washington University Hospital.
The statement said that according to initial tests there was no evidence of a new stroke, and that he is in good spirits and talking to his family.
